Water Polo Conference 17 Jan 2010

The ASA and British Swimming are holding a free Water Polo Conference “Your Sport – Help Shape the Future” on Sunday 17 January 2010.

The conference will be held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Birmingham and aims to build on the Water Polo Action Plan that was developed during the first Water Polo Conference in September.

Howard Cartwright, British Water Polo Chair, said: “After the success of the first conference, it is hoped that even more water polo enthusiasts will attend the follow up. This will give everybody the opportunity to comment on the Action Plan and review progress to date. Indeed, there is still every opportunity to become even more involved in the journey of transforming British Water Polo into a high quality and sustainable sport. Whilst the short term prize is 2012, the long term future of the sport is even more important”.

Anyone interested or involved in the sport is welcome to attend. You can register your place by emailing Andy Bell at andrew.bell@swimming.org or by telephone on 01509 632263.

Registration will begin at 10am with the conference starting at 10.30am.
