Making the most of London 2012 - College Workshops
Monday 9 November 2009 (13:30 - 16:30) - Bournemouth and Poole College
To encourage and help colleges to join in with London 2012, Podium will be hosting a series of regional workshops practically introducing Get Set , the Get Set Network, the Inspire Mark and other ways that colleges can get involved with the Games. In addition to Get Set these sessions will also look at some of the additional activities available through some of the Eight Strands including Practical Learning and Enterprise. The workshops will also introduce the Olympic and Paralympic Values of Respect, Excellence and Friendship, Determination, Inspiration, Courage and Equality whilst giving you the opportunity to hear first hand from other colleges who are running London 2012 related events and activities.
