Swim England’s Water Polo Leadership Group is responsible for Water Polo development and competition on behalf of the national governing body in England and is looking to appoint a Coaching Lead on a voluntary basis to further develop and drive forward the sport of Water Polo.

The Coaching Lead acts as an informed voice in relation to the coaching delivery of the discipline, providing input and advice on the implementation of rules and supporting the delivery of coach education.

Your specific responsibilities will be to:
  • Provide coaching input to the decisions of the Group to ensure that Swim England delivers appropriate education to the coaching community.
  • Provide support and advice to the National Development Officer, or equivalent, in relation to coach development, helping to implement the policies and strategies agreed by the group whilst respecting executive responsibility.
  • Work to ensure the relationship between the Discipline Leadership Group, the coaching community, the Sport Operations Committee, Swim England team members and volunteers is efficient and functional.
  • Ensure effective communication between the members and the group and the coaching community.
