Swim England is seeking a Water Polo Head Coach for the Women’s Senior National Team to plan, prepare and a lead a programme of development for all players to compete for the National Team. The position is fixed term, for an initial two year period with review prior to possible extension for further two years.

You will support a programme of development for all Assistant Coaches and other support staff, designed to enhance their knowledge, skills and abilities. You will produce a clear programme of development activity for the squad through the next two years and, subject to review, two years after.

The location of all training, camps and/or competitions will vary. The successful candidate will be expected to undertake both travel in the UK and overseas as considered appropriate by the Water Polo Talent Officer and as required by competition schedule.

Swim England is the national governing body for swimming in England. We help people learn how to swim, enjoy the water, and compete in our sports of swimming, diving, water polo and synchronised swimming.

The successful candidate must:
  • Have a current coaching qualification
  • Have coaching leadership experience within a national Water Polo programme
  • Have an understanding and commitment to safeguarding, equal opportunities in employment and sport
  • Be able to demonstrate leadership qualities
